I am three!!

Guess what we are working on?  The question that both boys get,  "How old are you?"  They look at the person and stare right through them.  So today we worked on saying three and using our fingers to show three.  It's hard to get those three finger up all together.

The boys sat around their first campfire the other nite and it was so much fun to watch their faces as the fire was lit and they got to eat smores!  The best was when big brother Erik started catching fire flies.  It is so fun and sobering to watch life through their eyes.  What we take for granted.  What we don't realize about the simplicity of life. Like how entertaining and special a campfire is.  I am so thankful for the little lessons that come from 2 little boys from across the world.

Wow a second blog entry...I am on a roll.  Thanks Katie for helping me to learn how to post pictures!!

  1. Yay! Stephanie's blogging! Love the pictures of the boys. Markos named his cabbage patch doll "Dawit" today. :-) And, you're so smart to teach the boys to answer the age question. I keep meaning to do that but always forget...until the next person asks and he just stares at them like they're speaking yet another language!
